We are a troupe of women of a "certain age" who entertain people of all ages.

Comedy Classes morphed into a comedy thing!
The Brassy Broads were born in 2023 after key members started taking comedy classes. The troupe now has 11 members, with five or six performing in any given show. We've entertained audiences from Coronado to La Mesa to Carlsbad and private parties across the county. Proceeds benefit the James Shirey Foundation, established by founding member Sue Shirey in memory of her son who died at age 14 due to complications from congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
